DUI Treatment: DUI treatment and counseling can either be an Outpatient Program (OP) or an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
Outpatient Programs: Our outpatient programs are designed to the meet the needs of individuals who are working adults and are continuing to find balance in their lives. As an Atlanta Drug Rehab center, we offer an array of groups and educational classes for many situations. We offer drug counseling utilizing American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria; thus addressing areas such as medical, the current level of functioning, and social support of the client. We have developed a Cognitive Skills Treatment Program for other individuals who engage in high-risk choices. These individuals could be involved in the distribution of drugs, but do not use drugs; frequently or have a long history of engaging in theft/ shoplifting/ or fraud; or other serious offenses. These programs can last up to 24 weeks.
Intensive Outpatient Programs: For individuals who require more consistent observation and support during the day/ week. We offer psycho-education and processing groups to allow for more healing and more support. Our clients meet a minimum of nine (9) hours per week and are required to attend multiple times per week. Along with the ASAM curriculums, we utilize the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA) curricula to address underlying processes of Anger Management, Relapse Prevention, Trauma, Motivation Enhancement Treatment, and more. These programs are considered long-term and can go beyond 24 weeks if necessary.
Our client-centered treatment is based on compassion, empathy, and a willingness to learn and understand where our clients have been and where they are in their journey through addiction. We have an array of settings which allows us to focus on the needs and preferences of our clients. A BETTER LIFE TREATMENT CENTERS is able to provide individual therapy, small group facilitation, and family therapy. Our goal is to work with our residents to teach them the skills needed for sustaining long-term recovery.
